Ensure your skin is clean, dry, and cool before applying the cream. After using the cream, thoroughly wash your entire body 8-14 hours later. In most cases, a single application is sufficient to treat scabies, but if a second application is required, wait at least 7 days. Persistent itching for a few weeks after treatment may occur due to an allergic reaction to the dead mites, which is not a sign of treatment failure.

The most common side effects include mild burning, stinging, or tingling at the application site. These effects are generally mild, and not everyone experiences them.
